Ed and Karen were married September 6th, 1969 in Jesup, Georgia.

After the wedding, they moved around with the military and landed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. There, they had their son, Jeff, in 1974. They moved to California after that and then to Germany where, eight years after Jeff, they had their daughter, Jenna.

Since then, they have lived in North Carolina and have finally settled down in Huntsville, Alabama. Jeff graduated from high school there, and Jenna went through all her schooling in Huntsville. Ed is now working as a hospital administrator and Karen is finally able to relax a little, now that Jenna has finished high school. But, with the empty nest syndrome hitting soon, Ed is still trying to convince her to buy a house boat.
